Judith Joan "Judy" Craig's Obituary
Judith "Judy" Joan Craig, beloved Mother and Grandma, 69, of Martinsville, Illinois passed away at 4:01 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Health Park Hospital, Ft. Myers, Florida. She was born January 19, 1939 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Clarence V. Goodwin and Christine Hock Goodwin. On September 22, 1990 she married Ronald L. Craig in Casey, Illinois. Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Craig of Martinsville, IL; daughters, Cindy Hickox and husband Larry of Casey, IL; Vicki Sandiford and husband Steve of Casey, IL; sons, Kevin Elliott of Minneapolis, Kansas; Rodney Elliott and wife Missy of Minneapolis, Kansas; and Shane Barry of Cambridge, Maryland; grandchildren, Jay Yates, Hollee Yates, Mitchell Yates, Lucas Yates, Nate Sandiford, Holton Sandiford, Tayia Sandiford, Nicole Elliott, Logan Elliott and Sean Craig, mother, Christine Goodwin of Casey, IL; brother, Lee Wayne Goodwin and wife Norletta of Casey, IL; sister, Kay Hutchings of Casey, IL; several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many of her grandchildren's friends who had adopted her as "Grandma." Her father preceded her in death in 1976. Judy was an avid sports fan, especially the Casey Westfield Warriors. She was a 1958 graduate of Casey High School and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Casey, IL. Judy loved life, was a bit crazy at times and looked forward to spending more time enjoying retirement in Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the First Church of the Nazarene, Casey, IL. Burial will be in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL.
