Joseph W Bernardi's Obituary
Joseph W. "Bill" Bernardi, age 72, of Arthur, died on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey with Pastor Doug Davis officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home and burial will be in the Casey-Cumberland Cemetery. He was born September 3, 1933 in Louisville, KY, the son of Joseph A. and Louise H. Huff Bernardi. He married Pamelia J. Spehar on June 7, 1970; she survives. He was a WWII Army veteran and a government contractor with ICI. He also worked at the Indiana Ammunition Plant in Charleston, IN. Surviving are his wife, Pamelia J. Bernardi, sons Anthony M. Bernardi and wife Becky and Gregory K. Elliott, daughter Nicole S. Bernardi, all of Arthur, sisters Marie Louise Steier and husband Elmer, Margie Curram and husband Raymond, JoAnn Vessels and husband Bob and Betty Osborne and husband Richard, all of Louisville, KY, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Edna Mae Schupp. Memorials may be made to the family.
