Jesse Ray Lamb's Obituary
Jesse Ray Lamb, age 43, of Casey, IL was welcomed into Heaven surrounded by the love of his family at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Marshall Rehab Center in Marshall, IL.. He was born August 25, 1981 in Terre Haute, IN the second son of Jerry Ray Lamb and Peggy Sue (Kuhn) Lamb.
Survivors include his daughter and the joy of his life, Millie Alexis Lamb and her mother, Jill Sharp of Casey, IL; father, Jerry Lamb of Casey, IL; mother, Peggy Lamb of Casey, IL; brothers, Robby Lamb (Kaitlyn) of Martinsville, IL and Jake Lamb (Paige) of Martinsville, IL; nephews and nieces, Susie Lamb, Nelson Lamb, Nora Lamb, Charlie Lamb, Maude Lamb, Oliver Creasey, Owen Lamb and Jasper Lamb; several uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, brother, Clayton Lamb and cousin, Charles "Chuck" Lamb.
Jesse was a 2000 graduate of Casey Westfield High School. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at MIQ in Casey, IL. Jesse enjoyed farming, fishing, deer hunting, riding side by sides and motocross. His greatest joy was spending time with his beautiful daughter Millie. Jesse was proud of his faith and committed his life to Christ in September 2024. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Markwell Funeral Home with Brother Dane Lindsay officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
