Janice E Davis' Obituary
Janice E. Davis, 67, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 2:32 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born on May 11, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Coy Handley and Ellen Marguerite Wright Handley. On October 24, 1959, she married Stephen Davis in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Survivors include her husband, Stephen Davis of Casey, IL; daughter, Jeanette Mollet and husband Lonnie of Casey, IL; sisters, Margaret Duzan of Newport, IN, Karen Walters and husband Jerry of Trilla, IL, Shirley Wells and husband Clyde of Oakley, IL; grandchildren, Jeremy McKerrow and wife Adrianne of Morris, IL; Jennifer Pound of Terre Haute, IN; Justin Finney and Aaron Finney of Casey, IL; great grandchildren, Drayden and Alexxis McKerrow and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Marcella Davis and Stephanie Jackson, granddaughters, Michelle McKerrow and Karri McKerrow, brothers, Carl, Richard, Jackie and David Handley and special nephew, Bradley Wells. Janice was retired from Marshall TRW as a machine operator. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Martinsville, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Markwell Funeral Home with Bishop Fred Keenan and Rev. Joyce Keenan officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
