Hugh Wilson's Obituary
Hugh Lewis "H" Wilson, age 81, of Casey, died on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey with Rev. Marvin Oakley officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and burial will be in the Casey-Cumberland Cemetery in Casey. He was born September 9, 1923 in Jewett, the son of Merl Monroe and Bertha Emaline Jester Wilson. He married Bernice Brandenburg on September 19, 1964 in Marshall; she survives. He was a machine operator at the Ettlebrick Shoe Company in Casey for over 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Bernice of Casey, daughters Debbie Martin and husband Wayne of Salem, Missouri and Robin Baker of Casey, brother Jim Wilson and wife Harrietta of Casey, four grandchildren: Amy McKinney and husband Shawn, Caleb Martin and wife Sigrid, Amber Brandenburg and her husband Michael and Milissa Baker, and five great-grandchildren: Megan Owens, Madison McKinney, Saidee and Levi Brandenburg and Shaden Porter. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Bonnie Jo Wilson, two sisters, Pearl Wilson and Vera Wood and one brother, Donald Wilson. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hopsice or the American Cancer Society.
