Harry Wayne Hall's Obituary
H. Wayne Hall, 69, of Bourbon, IL formerly of Martinsville, IL passed away at 11:09 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013 at his home. He was born October 20, 1943 in Moriah, IL, the son of Melvie Lewis Hall and Ruby Caroline Kuhn Hall. On June 29, 1960, he married Shirley Mozell Phipps. She passed away on November 30, 1983. He later married Sonja R. Coale on August 9, 1991. Survivors include his wife, Sonja R. Hall of Bourbon, IL; daughters, Marrinda Schoen and husband Kris of Plainfield, IN and Penny Miller and husband Marion of Fisher, IL; son, Timothy Wayne Hall and wife Trisha of Vista, AR; stepdaughter, Denise Harrison and husband Terry of Enfield, IL; sisters, Rosemary Smith of Casey, IL and Brenda Beasley and husband David of Martinsville, IL; brother, Charles Hall of Salem, OR; brother in law, Bob Napier of Martinsville, IL; sister in law, Diane Heuser of Robinson, IL; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Hall; infant daughter, Luella Michelle Hall and brother, Albert Hall. Wayne was a US Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #88 in Mattoon, IL and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Mattoon, IL. He was an oilfield driller for Farrar Drilling for many years. He later retired from the University of Illinois maintenance department. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Greenwell Funeral Home with Rev. Ivan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville IL with graveside military rites by the Martinsville American Legion. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.
