Harry Leon Corbett, 73, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at his home. He was born September 13, 1937 in Vincennes, IN, the son of Claude Corbett and Gladys Cox Corbett. On July 4, 1964, he married Dorothy Marie Phillips in Vincennes, IN. She passed away on August 20, 1985. He then married Dorothy Irene Reisner on June 16, 1990 in Casey, IL. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Corbett of Casey, IL; son, Kevin Corbett of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Tina (Wayne) Foster of Casey, IL; sisters, Claudia Litherland of Vincennes, IN; Carol Parish of Wichita Falls, TX and Rita (Kerry) Wisenborn of Miamisburg, OH; mother in law, Ruby Cisney of Hidalgo, IL; grandchildren, Angela (Jimmy) DeVoss of Charleston, IL; Tina Williams of Casey, IL; Joshua Foster of Casey, IL; great grandchildren, Dravyn Sidwell and Elizabeth Williams; stepchildren, Iris (Lloyd) McNurlan of Martinsville, IL; Kathy (Vernon) Cisney of Hidalgo, IL; Karen (Mark) Haley of Casey, IL; Ron Gross of Emporia, VA; Steve (Sherry) Gross of Yale, IL; Wally Gross of Casey, IL; Beth Morgan of Casey, IL; step grandchildren, Tiffany (Travis) Easton of Casey, IL; Jon McNurlan of Martinsville, IL; Rachel (Brad) Webb of Casey, IL; Bobbi McNurlan of Martinsville, IL; Vernon (Jody) Cisney of Lafayette, IN; Scott (Paige) Cisney of Tuscola, IL; Cory Cisney of Hidalgo, IL; Andrew Cisney of Hidalgo, IL; Hannah Cisney of Hidalgo, IL; Joe Cisney of Hidalgo, IL; Joshua Haley of Casey, IL; Shanna Gross of Martinsville, IL; David Gross of Westfield, IL; Trai Gross of Decatur, IL and Chelsea Gross of Casey, IL; step great grandchildren, Olivia Easton; Alexis Webb; Jacob Cisney; Haley Cisney; Victoria Cisney; Katherine Cisney, Harmony Cisney and soon to be namesake, Corbin Michael Easton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, sister, Jean Ridgley and daughter, Lisa Dawn Corbett. Harry was a US Army veteran, serving his country from 1958 - 1961. He retired in 2002 as the Groundskeeper for the Casey Country Club. Harry became a Christian in 1984, he was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church in Hidalgo, IL, where he served as a Trustee. He participated in many activities of the Church, he especially enjoyed working with the Pioneer Club and Missions. He could always be found working on the Church expansion projects. Harry especially enjoyed large family gatherings and considered all his step children and their families as his own. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations and contributions may be made to the family c/o Markwell Funeral Home, P.O.
