Harold "Bud" Lavern Churchill, age 84, of Casey, died on Sunday, December 25, 2005 at Heartland Manor Nursing Center in Casey. No services are schedule. Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey assisted with the arrangements. He was born June 6, 1921 in Casey, the son of Percy Walter and Sylvia Jane Wilson Churchill. He worked as a carpenter in the Casey area for Central Lumber Co. and Ross Hickox. He was a WWII Army veteran. Surviving are his special friend, Elta Snyder, son Harold Lavern Churchill, Jr. and wife Angel of Charleston, daughter Teressa Steadman and husband Brian of Benld, IL, sisters Leola Huffman of Casey and Lois Woolever of Toledo, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers LeRoy "Herb" and Ernest Churchill and an infant daughter, Starleen Churchill and one granddaughter, Tina Louise Kuhn.
