Gary Chapman Hudson's Obituary
Gary Chapman Hudson, age 77, of Casey, IL passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL. He was born on September 2, 1941 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Frank Leroy Hudson and Wilma Marie Chapman Hudson. Survivors include his brothers, Ron Hudson (Donna) of Casey, IL, Larry Hudson (Betty) of Moweaqua, IL, Delbert Hudson (Ann) of Villa Grove, IL and Tony Kent Hudson and special friend Melissa Ortiz of Rio Medina, TX; brother in law, Bill Williams of Casey, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Kevin DeLee Corley and Crystal Algene Williams, and nephew, Brian Hudson. Gary attended Casey High School and was a US Air Force Veteran. He attended the Casey White Oak Church and the Friendship Community Church and had previously been employed at Casey Tool and Machine. Gary had a musical gift and played many instruments, especially guitar, and enjoyed painting. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Markwell Funeral Home with Bro. Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL with graveside military rites by the Casey VFW and Martinsville American Legion. Visitation will be held from 10" " 11 a.m. prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
