Frieda Margaret Coleman's Obituary
Frieda Margaret Coleman, 86, of Casey, IL passed away on August 22, 2006 at Heartland Manor Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born March 26, 1920 in Casey, IL, the daughter of Al Coleman and Goldie Anderson Coleman. Survivors include her brother, Max Coleman and wife Mildred of Hazel Dell, IL; sisters, Betty Birchfield and Rosemary Richardson of Casey, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, two brothers, Donald and Robert Coleman; half-brother, Eugene Phillips; two sisters, Pauline Todd and Leona Johnson Watters. Frieda was united with the Pilgrim Holiness Church in her youth. She later attended the Asbury Pilgrim Holiness Church in Greenup, IL where she taught Sunday School for many years. She also loved to care for her flowers and her cats. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Brother Gary Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. til time of service. Memorials may be made to the Asbury Church, 405 W. Lincoln St., Greenup, IL 62428.
