Fred Albert Morgan's Obituary
Fred Albert Morgan, 88, of Olney, IL, formerly of Casey, IL, passed away at 12:25 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Eastview Terrace in Sullivan, IL. He was born on April 26, 1925 in Casey, IL, the son of Dewey Morgan and Rogene Ogg Morgan. He was raised by his foster parents, Mark and Mamie Haley. Survivors include his nieces, Carolyn Gray and husband Rev. Jack Gray of Hutsonville, IL, Jeanie Glidewell and husband Tom of Hobesound, FL, Evangeline Tucker of Noblesville, IN, and other relatives. He was preceded by his parents, foster parents, foster brothers, Homer Haley, Ezekiel Haley and Paul Haley, and foster sisters, Edna Woodworth, Emma Elliott, and Esther Roan Banning. Fred attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Casey. He worked at Ettlebrick Shoe Factory in the lasting room and did yard work for many families in Casey. Fred had also worked at the Casey Country Club. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Hazel Dell South Cemetery with Rev. Jack Gray officiating.
