Frances M Felkamp's Obituary
Frances M. Felkamp, 84, of Casey, IL passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at her home. She was born on April 7, 1926, in Westfield, IL, the daughter of Raymond Marvin Sloan and Lenora Isabelle Rogers Sloan. On May 12, 1942, she married Charles (Harry) Felkamp, Sr. He passed away on October 18, 1995. Survivors include daughter, Luanne Throneburg and husband Larry of Tolono, IL; daughter, Leeila Ennis and husband Dwight of Westfield, IL; son, Charles (Chuck) Felkamp, Jr. and wife Loretta of Casey, IL; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, husband, brothers, Dwight Sloan and Russell Sloan; grandson-in-law, LCPL Joshua Hines in Operation Iraqi Freedom and great grandson, Jacob Ennis. Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired from SKF in Casey, IL and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Kansas, IL. Frances was an avid gardener and loved to crochet. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed making Christmas cookies and candies. She had a special love of animals, especially her beloved dog "Polly" and her cat, "Miss Kitty." Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. John Gartelos officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery.
