Elta Maxine Snyder's Obituary
Elta Maxine Snyder, age 82, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:22 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL. She was born April 1, 1937 in Westfield, IL the daughter of Jesse Everett Snyder and Lula Jane Johnson Snyder.
Survivors include her nephew, Jerry Comer and wife Kathy of Bloomington, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert G. Snyder and wife Fannie Helen; sister, Juanita E. Comer and husband John L. and special friend, Harold Bud Churchill.
Miss Snyder served her country in the US Army from 1959 - 1961. She was retired as a proof operator at Casey State Bank and also worked at Birchwood Nursing Home for over fifteen years. Elta enjoyed reading and watching TV.
Inurnment will at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 near her parents in Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL.
