Elizabeth Ann Carver's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann "Lib" Carver, 78, of Casey, IL passed away at 10:04 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at her home. She was born April 19, 1932 in Casey, IL, the daughter of Cleta Marie Handley. She married Frederick Clinton Carver in Greenup, IL, who preceded her in death in November 1979. Survivors include sons, Frederick Carver and wife Lisa of Casey, IL; Charles Carver of Casey, IL; Jerry Carver and wife Cherie of Pulaski, TN; Danny Carver and wife Donna of Casey, IL and Ron Hardy of Noble, OK; daughters, Deanna Guffey of Casey, IL; Clara "Mack" Shelton of Casey, IL and Beverly Carver of Martinsville, IL; sister, Martha Estes of Joliet, IL; thirty-five grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Wesley John Carver; daughter, Brenda Gail Brooks; grandsons, Ryliene James Allen Carver and Doug Hardy; brothers, Bill, Wayne and Robert Black and sister, Luella Rushton. Mrs. Carver worked for the Ettlebrick Shoe Factory for twenty-five years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Ray Finney officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Mattoon, IL. Visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 pm prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
