Eleanor Mae "Gard" Huddlestun's Obituary
Eleanor Mae (Gard) Huddlestun, 83, of Casey, IL passed away at 6:05 pm on Friday, July 27, 2007 at Heartland Manor in Casey, IL. She was born on June 16, 1924 in Clark County, IL, the daughter of C. Bruce Gard and Ione M. (Kite) Gard. On February 27, 1953 she married Herschell Huddlestun in Clark County, IL. Survivors include her husband, Herschell Huddlestun of Casey, IL; daughters, Shirley Hays and husband Glen of Flat Rock, IL and Susan Gordon and husband Tom of Monticello, IL; granddaughter, Melissa (Hays) Fuhrmann and husband Justin of Bourbonnais, IL and great granddaughter, Ashlyn Fuhrmann of Bourbonnais, IL. Her parents and brother, Leo Gard, preceded her in death. Mrs. Huddlestun was a homemaker and member of the Friendship United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. John Gartelos officiating. Burial will be in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 - 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Markwell Funeral Home of Casey, IL is in charge of arrangements.
