Edward G Beilfuss' Obituary
Edward George Beilfuss, 95, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2008 at Simple Blessings in Casey, Illinois. He was born October 24, 1913 in Lyons, Illinois, the son of Henry W. Beilfuss and Theresa Offenloch Beilfuss. In August 26, 1978 he married Vivien Pogue Clawson in Naperville, Illinois, she passed away on March 10, 2006. He is survived by his sons, Gary Clawson and wife Valerie of Naperville, IL; Ron Clawson and wife Sandra of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Valarie Forshee and husband Mark of Kalamazoo, MI; Lynn Mulaney of Sandwich, IL; Victoria Clawson of New Lenox, IL; great grandchildren, Austin, Logan & Braxtyn Forshee; and sister, Florence Mirback of Westchester, IL. His parents, wife, Vivien Beilfuss; one brother and four sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Beilfuss retired from Argo Corn Products after forty three years of employment. He was a sixty year member of Argo Summit Masonic Lodge #1133 AF & AM. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army "Rainbow Division" and a member of the American Legion and VFW. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial tributes may be sent to the family at www.markwellfuneralhome.com.
