Edna Marie Cargle's Obituary
Edna Marie Cargle, age 86, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:10 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born October 15, 1931 in Casey, IL the daughter of Isaac Winfred Swim and Edna Irene Swim. On July 18, 1949 she married James Ernest Cargle in Martinsville, IL. He passed away on March 11, 1972.Survivors include her son, Tony Cargle (Teresa) of Casey, IL; daughters, Joyce Snoddy (Darrell) of Charleston, IL; Roberta Beasley of Casey, IL; Patsy Burkett of KY and Elaine Holt (Michael) of Charleston, IL; brother, Larry Swim in Casey, IL; sister in law, Shirley Swim of Casey, IL; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brother, Roy Swim; sister, Lola Blunk Hays; son in law, R. Michael Beasley and granddaughter, Crystal Snoddy.Mrs. Cargle had previously worked at Charles Industries in Casey. She was a member of the Casey White Oak Church of God. Marie enjoyed crocheting, gardening and quilting.Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Toner officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior the service on Saturday at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N.
