Edgar George Marr Jr.'s Obituary
Edgar George Marr Jr., age 67, of Casey, IL passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Casey Health Care Center in Casey, IL. Edgar was born on October 19, 1953 in Sycamore, IL the son of Edgar George Marr Sr. and Grace Jeannine Conklin-Kittle Marr.
He is survived by his sisters, Pamela DeLong (Dave) of Dekalb, IL, Barbara Wall (Mike) of Sycamore, IL, and Frances Eggleston (Friend Darrell Padberg) of FL; brother, David Marr of Casey, IL; many nephews and nieces; and great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Marr; and niece.
Edgar worked as a laborer throughout his life. He enjoyed playing cards, especially the game of poker. He also enjoyed spending evenings on his front porch and visiting with friends as they stopped by. Edgar cherished his nephews and nieces and will remembered for doing the Chicken Dance for them.
