Dorothy May Risinger, 84, of Casey, IL and formerly of Charleston, IL and Wilmington, IL passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Heartland Manor Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born October 14, 1923 in Martinsville, IL, the daughter of John Milton Risinger and Ethel May Kennedy Risinger. Survivors include her sisters, Barbara Niles of Casey, IL; Delores Patrick and her husband Ivan of Casey, IL; Joan Nidey and her husband Kelly of Casey, IL; Lula Bell Stone and her husband Joe of West Liberty, IL; half-brother, Art Risinger and wife Marie of Casey, IL and sister in law, June Risinger of Gays, IL and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, brother, Johnny Risinger and sister, Mary Risinger Bower, preceded her. Dorothy was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Gays, IL. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Dial Cemetery, Gila, IL with Rev. Brooke Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Monday at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL. Burial will be in the Dial Cemetery, Gila, IL following the graveside service.
