Donna Rae Johns' Obituary
Donna Rae Johns, age 73, of Casey, IL passed away unexpectedly at 5:29 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born January 10, 1947 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of James Johns and Virginia Lois Shafer Johns.
Survivors include a nephew, niece, many cousins and friends and her Church family. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Leila Mae (Johns) Allentharp.
Donna was a graduate of Mt. Diablo High School in California. She was a faithful member of Casey First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Donna worked in local nursing homes and helped care for many families.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL with Rev. Jon McDonald officiating.
