Dickie Lee "Dick" Biggs' Obituary
Dickie Lee "Dick" Biggs, 78, of Casey, IL passed away at 1:07 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born on April 17, 1936 in Westfield, IL, the son of Lorn Lee Biggs and Cecil Maxine Mauk Biggs. Survivors include his son, Brian Biggs and wife Debbie of Orland Park, IL; grandchildren, Emily Biggs and Grace Biggs of Orland Park, IL; Devon Stevens and wife Anna of Mile City, MT; Nicole Sharp and husband Josh of Grenada, MS; Paris Swearingen and Ciarra Swearingen of Mattoon, IL and great granddaughter, Averi Sharp. He leaves a host of family and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Beth Ellen (Biggs) Stevens. Dick was US Navy Veteran having served his country from 1958 to 1962 in Alameda, CA. He was a retired implement salesman in Casey and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Casey, IL. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike Kasting officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 201 E. Colorado Ave, Casey, IL.
