Dawn Eileen Beasley's Obituary
Dawn Eileen Beasley, 43, of Westfield, Illinois formerly of Bloomington, Illinois passed away at 10:44 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, Illinois. She was born on July 17, 1966 in Stuttgart, Germany, the daughter of LaDonna Eileen McMahan Cummings and Edward Cummings. On August 4, 1990, she married Brad E. Beasley in Chenoa, Illinois. Survivors include her husband, Brad E. Beasley; daughter, Airelle E. M. Beasley and son, Britt E. Beasley of Westfield, IL; father, Edward Cummings and step-mother Michele of Pontiac, IL; lifelong friend, Shawn Cooper; Dawn and Brad's Godson Andrew; her "Special Angel" Harley Bells; aunts and uncles, Charlene Haney, Vanessa and husband Ricky Hess, Patricia and husband Don Wheeler, Jonathan Cummings, Steve Cummings, Anita and husband Robert Uruhn, Kristine Cummings, Colleen and husband James Flanagan: half sisters, Nicole and husband Alex Burns and Jennifer and husband Travis Gaffney; niece and nephew Lucille Gaffney and Jonathon Burns; cousins, Ladeea Haney, Kira Haney, Aaron Haney, Troy Hess, Derrick Hess and Quentin Hess. She also had many special friends at her school. Her mother, sister, Laura E. Cummings and brother, Mark E. Cummings preceded her in death. Dawn was a 1984 graduate of Bloomington High School and graduated from Lincoln Community College with an Associates of Science in Early Childhood Development. She was employed by the Casey Westfield School District Monroe Elementary School as a Teacher's Aide. Dawn was a wonderful wife, devoted mother, loving daughter and a caring friend to many. She is remembered by all who knew her for her warm smile, kind spirit and generous heart. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Mr. Gale Towles officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations and contributions may be made to the family for an education fund for the children c/o Markwell Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Casey, IL 62420.
