David Michael Simpson, 58, of Casey, IL passed away at 12:18 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. He was born June 2, 1949 in Casey, IL to Donald Dean and Irma Mae Edington Simpson. On December 19, 1970, in Casey, IL, he married Sandra Sue Cutright. Survivors include his wife Sandy Simpson of Casey, IL; three sons, Cory Dean Simpson, Kaleb Lee Simpson and Levi Taylor Simpson of Casey, IL; five daughters, Cassandra Lee Armstrong and husband John of Longwood, FL, Amanda Michelle Hill and husband Jim of Charleston, IL, Kara Denise Wade of Charleston, IL, Jessica Laray Simpson and Abbie Marie Simpson of Casey, IL; four grandchildren, Jordan Lee Armstrong, David Riley Armstrong, Tyler Jeffrey Hill and Alex Michael Hill; brother, Dwight Simpson and wife Susan of CT; two sisters, Kathy Moore and husband Philip of Greenup, IL and Delise Wilkins of Casey, IL. David was employed as a truck driver for Illinois Ag Supply and was previously employed as a telephone technician for AVAYA of Collinsville. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where he served on the board and other committees. He was a former school board member for Casey-Westfield. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Casey, IL with Pastor Mark Copley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be in the Mount Cemetery south of Casey. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, P.O.
