Dale L Kelly's Obituary
Dale L. Kelly, 79, of Casey, died at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 21, 2006) at Mission Regional Hospital in Mission, Texas. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Markwell Funeral Home, in Casey, with Pastor Daniel Harper officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A Masonic service by Casey Lodge 442 will begin at 6:45 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Casey VFW Post 5762 and Hazel Dell American Legion Post 1230. Dale was born June 13, 1926 in Yale, IL, a son of Franklin Thomas Kelly and Goldie Emery Huddleston Kelly. He married Naomi Keller on May 28, 1947 in Newton, IL. Survivors include his wife, Naomi Kelly of Casey, IL; sons, Tom Kelly and wife Bonnie and Gene Kelly and wife Deanna, all of Casey, IL; a daughter, Arlene Cutright also of Casey, IL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harold Kelly; and four sisters, Lois Major, Florene Lewis, Helen Hillard and Inez Sumption. Mr. Kelly was a Supervisor at SKF Industries in Casey for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and member of the Eastern Star, Masonic Blue Lodge of Casey and Newton, IL, the Danville Consistory, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 2621 N. Knoxville Avenue, Peoria, IL 61604.
