Connie Sue Jacobs Cooper, 48 of Charleston, IL passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born on August 15, 1958 in Charleston, IL to Robert Leroy Jacobs and Juanita Joyce McCord Jacobs. On November 25, 1984 in Westfield, IL she married Mark Aaron Cooper. Survivors include her husband, Mark A. Cooper of Charleston, IL; her parents, Robert and Joyce Jacobs of Westfield; Aunts, Lillian Jacobs of Westfield, IL and Ola Mae Cook of Iowa Park, TX; brothers in law, Larry Cooper and wife Cheri of Charleston, IL and Rex Cooper and wife Becky of Charleston, IL; sister in law, Carla Robison and husband Doug of Lerna, IL; two nephews and six nieces including one special niece, Carrie Schutzbach and husband Bob; several cousins and her beloved poodle, Buddy and cat, Fletcher. Connie was a retired Teacher's Aid for D.D.C. in Charleston, IL and was a former Nurse's Aid for Heartland Manor Nursing Home, Casey, IL. She was a member of the Westfield Baptist Church and a 1976 Graduate of Westfield High School. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Westfield Baptist Church in Westfield, IL. with Rev. Ray Finney, Bro. Paul Flowers and Bro. Jim Butler officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Westfield Baptist Church, Westfield, IL. Markwell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
