Clay Howard Ring's Obituary
Clay Howard Ring, 49, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 2:36 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. He was born July 3, 1964 in Effingham IL, the son of Jackie Dean "Jack" Ring and Dorothy Mae Brewer Ring. On September 2, 2006 he married Lori Ann Chronic Burnett in Casey, IL. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Ring of Casey, IL; wife, Lori Ring of Martinsville, IL; sons, Levi (Alisha) Ring of Marshall, IL; Zachariah Ring of Casey, IL; Taylor (Bayle) Ring of Brownstown, IL; Dylan Burnett of Martinsville, IL; Wyatt Burnett of Martinsville, IL and Jesse Burnett of Holloman Air Force Base, NM; grandchildren, Asher, Piper and Charlie Ring; brothers, Steven (Betty) Ring of Effingham, IL and Dennis (Marsha) Ring of Casey, IL; mother in law, Shirley Chronic of Casey, IL; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and father in law, Bill Chronic. Clay was a 1982 graduate of Casey High School. He was a US Air Force veteran and a member of the Casey VFW. Clay was employed by Eastern Illinois Precast, Inc. in Charleston, IL as a fork truck operator. He especially enjoyed spending his free time with his family camping and fishing and was a diehard Notre Dame fan. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Markwell Funeral Home followed by military rites by the Casey VFW and Hazel Dell American Legion. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
