Charles Randolph Moore's Obituary
Charles Randolph Moore, 88, of Oaktown, Indiana formerly of Dundas, Illinois passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana. He was born January 26, 1918 in Vincennes, Indiana the son of William Bill Moore and Josephine Springer Moore. He married Helen Ruth Kennedy, she passed away on March 10, 1974. Survivors include his step-daughter, Sharon Denny of Oaktown, IN; daughter, Sherry Harper of Vincennes, IN; son, Arthur Curtis Miller of Linton, IN; Harold Eugene Miller of Linton, IN; Terry Lee Moore of Robinson, IL; James Moore of Oaktown, IN; grandsons, Donald Denny, Jr. and Eric Moore, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded by his parents, wife, two sons, one daughter and two sisters. Mr. Moore was previously employed at the Joliet Arsenal, Joliet, IL; Forbes Nursery, Vincennes, IN and seventeen years at the Executive Inn in Vincennes, IN. He was a member of the Church of God Prophecy and a US Army veteran. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Dial Cemetery north of Gila, Illinois.
