Carolyn Sue Bland Wilson's Obituary
Carolyn Sue (Bland) Wilson, 65, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Heartland Manor Care Center, Casey, IL. She was born in Greenup, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Mac Bland and Mary Carolyn Hawes Bland. On August 2, 1969 she married Kenneth Gene Wilson in Casey, Illinois. Survivors include her husband, Kenny Wilson of Casey, IL; son, Allan G. Wilson and fiancé Valerie of Casey, IL; daughter, Lynn A. Wilson Mahlmeister husband Charles of Paris, IL; son, Kent J. Wilson of Lovington, IL; granddaughter, Destinee Chaelyn Mahlmeister; step grandchildren, Zae and Addie; sister, Patricia Sluder of Florida; brother Robert (Leroy) Bland and wife Priscilla of Pekin, IL, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Her parents, infant son, and a special brother in law preceded her in death. Sue was a homemaker and worked for Heartland Manor Care Center for many years. She had previously worked as a waitress and for the shoe factory in Greenup, IL. Sue will be missed by all who loved and knew her. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery at a later date.
