Carolyn Sue Lamb's Obituary
Carolyn Sue Lamb, age 84, of Casey, IL passed away at 7:44 a.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born February 13, 1938 in Lawrenceville, IL, the daughter of Kilburn Beard and Prudence Baum Beard. On April 16, 1957 she married Robert L. "Bob" Lamb in Toledo, IL; he passed away on February 14, 2006. She later married John R. Dining on January 21, 2007 in Casey, IL; he passed away on March 12, 2016.
Survivors include her three sons, Tommy Lamb of Martinsville, IL; Jerry Lamb of Casey, IL and David Lamb (Judy) of Casey, IL; sisters, Patty Condiff (Chuck) of St. Francisville, IL and Kay Rosignal (Kenny) of Lawrenceville, IL; step children, Donna Cook (Gary) of Lawrenceville, IL and Debbie Wachter (Brad) of Newburg, IN; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands; son, Joey Lamb; brother, Sonny Beard; and grandsons, Charles Robert Lamb and Clayton Wade Lamb.
Mrs. Lamb was a high school graduate and worked for TRW for over twenty-six years. Carolyn was a faithful member of Freedom Baptist Church in Clark Center. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Oakley officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
