Cameron Alan Brasier's Obituary
Cameron Alan Brasier, 20, of Casey, IL passed away at 10:12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born on September 30, 1994 in Mattoon, IL, the son of Charles Ellery Brasier and Patricia Ann Hilmes Brasier. Survivors include his parents, Chuck and Pat Brasier of Casey, IL; brothers, Patrick Brasier and wife Kimberly of Casey, IL and Richard Brasier of Anna, IL; sisters, Vonnie Sarver and husband John of Urbana, IL, Katrina McGrath of Louisville, KY, Tina Peterson of Phoenix, AZ and Sierra Brasier of Florida; several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, many of which he considered his brothers and sisters. Cameron was a 2014 graduate of Casey Westfield High School and attended the Moriah Church of God. He liked to play basketball, ride four wheelers and draw and color pictures. Cameron participated in the Clark Country 4-H club and received an award for his Grand Champion cat. He was an avid Casey Girls Softball fan and St. Louis Cardinals fan. One of his greatest passions was participating in the local Special Olympics. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Markwell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenup Cemetery, IL Rte. 121, Greenup, IL. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL. Memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics Illinois, 520 Jackson Ave., Charleston, IL 61920.
