Bruce Alan Lowery's Obituary
Bruce Alan Lowery, 46, of Westfield, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:48 a.m. at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL. He was born October 21, 1964 in Terre Haute, IN the son of Noble Dixon Lowery and Marjorie Delp Lowery. Survivors include two daughters, Liana and Megan Lowery of Washington; brother, Jerry Lowery of Westfield, IL; sister, Marie Finney and husband Dan of Westfield, IL; sister, Christine Lowery of Goose Creek, SC; nieces Amy Arbuckle and Drew Finney; nephews, Michael and Ryan Lowery and Dylan Finney and great nieces, Bobbi and Chelsea. He was preceded in death by parents, sister, Marion Rose and brother, Paul Lowery. Bruce was a graduate of Westfield High School, class of 1983. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved FACEBOOK and enjoyed throwing horseshoes. He was previously employed by Casey Farm Pride. He truly enjoyed his family and friends and was a devoted fan of his sister's cats, George and Gracie. Bruce was a loving son, brother and father and will be greatly missed by his family. Per his request, his donation of ocular tissue to the Heartland Lions Eye bank will continue to help others with vision problems. Funeral services will be Friday, November 5, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Westfield United Methodist Church, Westfield, IL with Rev. Walter Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions and donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle Chicago, IL 60674.
