Brenden Avery Lewin, age 4, of Casey, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon. Funeral services are Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey with Rev. Tom Meachum officiating. Burial in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville. Visitation is Friday, July 29, 2005 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. He was born July 20, 2001 in Madisonville, KY, the son of Terry Lewin and Amanda Schwab Lewin. He was very fond of riding his bike and playing with toy cars. He was fascinated by trains. Surviving are his mother, Amanda Schwab Lewin of Casey, father Terry Lewin of Mattoon, brothers Kyle Wesley Boyd and Tanner Lee Lewin, sister Jessi Carol Lewin, paternal grandparents Wayne and Carolyn Lewin of Cincinnati, OH, maternal grandfather Larry Schwab and wife Brenda of Effingham, maternal grandmother Polly Miller and husband Ronald of Tulsa, OK, maternal great-grandparents Ernest and Nancy Schwab of Dennison and Cassie Hall of Martinsville, uncles Tony Lewin, Ted Lewin and wife Carol, Toby Lewin and wife Nora, all of Cincinnati, Paul Miller and wife Trish, Bobby Miller and wife Natalie, all of Effingham, and nine cousins. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Jessica Dawn Schwab, his paternal great-grandparents and maternal great grandfather. Memorials may be made to the family.
