Brenda Rauckman, nee Hammond, age 55 of Belleville, IL, formerly of Westfield, IL, born May 14, 1951 in Paris, IL died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at her residence. Brenda worked at Union Planters Bank formerly Mid America Bank. She recently worked as a Trust Administrator for Sunguard, Belleville, IL. She was a member of Westfield United Methodist Church, Westfield, IL. She was a member of Looking Glass Play House, Lebanon, IL. Brenda was an advisor to BSA 932 Venturing Crew. She enjoyed canoeing in BWCA, skiing in the Rockies, whitewater rafting in the Appalachians and enjoyed her lake house. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael Rauckman; her 2 sons, Alex and Bryan Rauckman; her parents, Ben and Irma Jean, nee Edwards, Hammond of Westfield, IL; a sister, Linda (Aaron) Livingston of Sullivan, IL; 2 brothers, Benjamin (Beth) Hammond of St. Louis, MO and Fred (Darla) Hammond of Casey, IL. Memorials may be made to Siteman Cancer Center. Friends may call from 4:000 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL and from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Westfield United Methodist Church, Westfield, IL. Funeral procession to leave at 9:15 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2006 from Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Luke?s Catholic Church, Belleville, IL with Father Andrew Chaulky officiating. Also a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Westfield United Methodist Church, Westfield, IL with Rev. Cathy Minor and Rev. Jim Whitkanack officiating. Interment will be in Bean Cemetery, Clark County, IL. Markwell & Son Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
