Brenda Fern (Davis) Housel's Obituary
Brenda Fern (Davis) Housel, age 68, of Casey, IL passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at her home. She was born July 6, 1957 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Otto Junior Davis and Hazel Leillian (Radcliff) Davis.
Survivors include her mother, Hazel Davis of Decatur, IL; son, James Wesley Housel (Whitney) of Camp Lejeune, NC; grandson, Kobyn James Housel; granddaughter, Jaylin Elyse Housel; brother, Larry Davis (Jill) of O’Fallon, IL; sister, Carol Ann Lauterbur (Doug) of Vicksburg, MS; nephew, Kris Kinkaid (Jennifer) and their daughters, Isabel Ryan (Evan) and Emma Kinkaid; nephew, Nick Kinkaid; aunt in law, Beverly Radcliff of MO and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Otto Davis and twin babies Andrew and Michele Davis born to Larry (Jill) Davis.
Brenda was a 1975 graduate of Maroa-Forsyth High school. She worked as the office manager for Casey Motocross for many years. Brenda attended the First Baptist Church, Ramsey, IL with her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Munson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL 62420. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Ramsey, IL.
