Brenda Carver Brooks' Obituary
Brenda Gail Brooks, 48, of Casey, IL passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. She was born July 17, 1961 in Charleston, IL, the daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth Handley Carver. On September 26, 1998, she married James Daniel Brooks in Casey, IL. Survivors include her husband, James (J.D.) Brooks of Casey, IL; daughter, Heather Carver of Casey, IL; son, James Brooks, Jr. of Casey, IL; granddaughters, Alicia, Jazmon and Anna; grandson, Little Jimmy; mother, Elizabeth Carver, Casey, IL; brothers, Fred Carver of Casey, IL; Charles Carver of Casey, IL; Jerry Carver and wife Cherie of TN; Danny Carver and wife Donna of Casey, IL and Ron Hardy of OK; sisters, Deanna Guffey of Casey, IL; Clara M. Shelton Macky of Casey, IL and Beverly Carver of Martinsville, IL; nine nieces, three nephews, ten great nieces, thirteen great nephews; one great, great niece and one great, great nephew. Her father, Fred Carver; brother, John Carver and grandson, Ryliene Carver preceded her in death. Brenda was a longtime employee of Quebecor World Petty Printing in Effingham, IL and currently worked as a Home Health Care Aid for Addus Healthcare in Charleston, IL. Family was most important to Brenda, especially her daughter and granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Ray Finney officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations and contributions may be made to the family c/o Markwell Funeral Home, P.O.
