Brenda May Adams Case Brandt's Obituary
Brenda May (Lee) Adams Case Brandt, age 72, of Westfield, IL passed away at 8:48 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL. She was born September 1, 1946 in Paris, IL, the oldest daughter of Hal Zollie Lee and Lucy Margaret Snyder Lee. Her sister Dema Kay Lee was born 11 years later. In 1962 Brenda married Rex Adams in Marshall, IL; they were blessed with three children, Terry, Julie and Travis. In 1977 she married John Case in Charleston, IL; they were blessed with Amanda. On July 24, 1987 she married Stephen Cyrus Brandt, Jr. in West Union, IL. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Stephen Brandt, Jr. of Westfield, IL; children, Terry Scott Adams (Bette) of Westfield, IL; Julie May Margaret Evans (Jim) of Westfield, IL; Travis Lee Adams of Westfield, IL and Amanda Jo Case Adams (Jacob) of Westfield, IL; sister, Dema Kay Lee of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Terry James Adams (Leah), Jurnee Evans, Joseph Adams, Zoe Adams, Madelyn Adams, Katlen Schroder (Randy), Cooper Adams and Alex Adams; stepchildren, Steve Carl Brandt (Terri) of Jacksonville, FL; Mary Ella Brandt of North Stonington, CT; Heather Lynn Siegrist of Minster, OH; Alea Anne Brandt of Effingham, IL and John Roy Case (Shelly) of Galatia, IL, nephews, nieces, twenty step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents. Brenda was a graduate of Westfield High School; she later graduated from Lake Land College. She was previously employed with Trailmobile and Coles County Council on Aging in Charleston, IL. Brenda loved caring for senior citizens and most recently worked as a CNA for Heartland Nursing Center in Casey, IL. She was a member of Westfield Homemakers Association and in 1968 helped with reorganization. She served as Board Member for the Westfield Library and was a devoted member of Westfield United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. Brenda enjoyed reading, flowers and Panda Bears. She was a huge Elvis fan and always enjoyed a bargain. She adored time spent with her grandchildren including playing in the park, water activities in the summer and playing in the snow in the winter. She dearly loved her family; they were the most important part of her life! Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Westfield United Methodist Church with Rev. Walter Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 4" " 6 p.m. prior to the service on Monday at Westfield United Methodist Church, 225 S. Madison St., Westfield, IL. Burial will be held at a later date in Richwoods Cemetery, Westfield, IL. Memorial donations may be made to Westfield United Methodist Church, PO Box 98, Westfield, IL 62474.
