Beverly Kay Carmichael's Obituary
Beverly Kay (Perry) Carmichael, age 68, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:08 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home. She was born June 2, 1949 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Walter Vincent Perry and Reba Ernestine Lacey Perry.Survivors include her daughters, Carlotta Athey (Rick) of Casey, IL and Suzanne Biggs of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Brock Athey (Lara), Bryant Athey (Ashley), Brianna Athey, Garrett Biggs and Tia Biggs; great grandchildren, Sara, Rhett, June, Blaire and Brecken Athey; brother, Walter Vincent Knicley (Debra) of Oblong, IL, nephews, nieces, many special friends and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry Gene Perry and two infant daughters.Bev was a high school graduate and attended Lake Land College. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ. Bev enjoyed yard sales, junking and spending winters in Florida. She was a nautical enthusiast and loved collecting sea shells. She was a member of the Casey Moose Lodge. Bev especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Southard officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.Memorial donations may be made to Casey Fairview Park Campground c/o J. Clark, 602 E.
