Bertha Partlow's Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Hills Partlow, 84, of Casey, IL passed away at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 1980 in Cumberland Nursing Center, Greenup, IL. She was born on April 22, 1895 in Clark County, IL, the daughter of Jeremiah Martin Hills and Viola Johnson Hills. She married Henry Partlow; he passed away on June 27, 1957. Survivors include her daughter in law, Jane Alkire Partlow of Casey, IL; grandson, Marion (Jackie) Partlow of Casey, IL; granddaughter, Roanna Partlow, of Springfield, IL; great grandson, Marshall Partlow; great granddaughter, Maria J. Partlow; sisters, Faye Gardner of Casey, IL; Bernadine Considine and Joan Platt of Pompano Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Marion Partlow in 1962 and granddaughter, Carole Partlow in 1955. Mrs. Partlow was a member of the Restitution Church, Clark County, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 1980 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. J.C. Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Partlow Cemetery, south of Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the heart or cancer fund.
