Barbara Joan Coleman's Obituary
Barbara Joan (Beabout) Coleman, 76, of Jacksonville, FL formerly of Casey, IL passed away at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Jacksonville Baptist South Hospital, Jacksonville, FL. She was born June 18, 1937 in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Lester Beabout and Hazel Weaver Beabout. On December 23, 1956 she married James H. Coleman in Casey, IL. Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Jim Coleman of Jacksonville FL; daughter, Angie Coleman-Rao and husband Vijay Rao of Jacksonville, FL; son, Jeff Coleman of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Robert Beabout of Aurora, CO and grandson, Krishna Rao. She was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Casey High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Casey, IL. Barb enjoyed Florida sunshine, knitting, crafts, and attending her grandson's activities and events. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Emrich officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
