Barbara Ann Davidson's Obituary
Barbara Ann Davidson, age 59, of Robinson, IL passed away unexpectedly at 8:02 a.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 21, 1964 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of James Arden Swick and Joan Beasley (Miller) Swick. On November 22, 1991 she married Charles Victor Davidson, Jr. in Robinson, IL.
Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-two years, Charles "Chuck" Davidson of Robinson, IL; daughters, Nicole Davidson of Claremore, OK and Kelsey Krick (Colt) of Oblong, IL; grandson, Connor Krick; sister, Carolyn Swick of Collinsville, OK; brother, Michael Swick of Robinson, IL; uncles, Ronald Miller (Linda) of Findlay, OH and Roger Swick of Charleston, SC; aunts, Shirley Huisinga (Dale) of Casey, IL and Connie Mooney of Dix, IL; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Barbara was a 1982 graduate of Casey High School. Most recently Barbara worked at Hershey 's and DJ 's in Robinson, IL. In the past, she cleaned houses and worked as a cook at Martinsville High School and Heartland Nursing Home. Her greatest joy was her grandson Connor and she loved spending time with him. Barbara enjoyed the outdoors, especially sitting in the swimming pool, mowing, and planting flowers. She also enjoyed music and attending concerts.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Greenwell Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Marsh officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.
