Audrey M. Pinkston's Obituary
Audrey M. Pinkston, age 68, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 10 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the home of her granddaughter in Hume, IL surrounded by her family. She was born December 7, 1955 in Valparaiso, IN; the daughter of Charles F. Adomaitis and Jean C. (Williams) Wilson. On March 22, 1996 she married Phillip Morris Pinkston in Martinsville, IL; he passed away on May 22, 2008.
Survivors include her sons, Douglas (Jamie) Neibarger of Paris, IL and Charles Neibarger of Paris, IL; brothers, Ron Wilson of Martinsville, IL and Carl Adomaitis of TN; six grandchildren, Clayton Dodd of Martinsville, IL, Devin (Jordan) Neibarger of Greenville, SC, Christopher Dodd of Martinsville, IL, Taylor (Joseph) Wagoner of Hume, IL, Jacob Neibarger of Paris, IL, and Alyssa Schmidt of Paris, IL; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Adomaitis and Jean Wilson; husband, Phillip Pinkston; daughter, April Dawn Neibarger; and brother, Ralph "Skip" Ammerman.
Audrey was 1974 graduate of Martinsville High School. She retired from Pretium Packaging in Paris, IL. She was a faithful member of Martinsville First Baptist Church and a 20-year member of Marshall VFW Ladies Auxillary. Audrey loved her family and cherished time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and little dog Taz.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Greenwell Funeral Home, with Pastor Art Orndorff officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.
