Amelia C Megginson's Obituary
Ameilia C. Megginson, 83 of Westfield, IL passed away at 10:05 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Paris Health Care Center, Paris, IL. She was born October 23, 1922 in Augsburg, IL to Charles Rebbe and Anna Whitmier Rebbe. On February 9, 1944 in Vandalia, IL she married Austin Francis Megginson, he passed away on December 22, 1984. Survivors include daughters, Jean Hawkins of Brocton, IL; Ruth Burgess of Ridge Farm, IL; Alice Hupp of Westfield, IL and Linda Camp and husband David of Swansboro, NC; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, husband, daughter, Wanda Marie, two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Megginson was a homemaker, a in-home health care provider, she worked for the Windbreaker Factory and retired from the Zenith Factory, all in Paris, IL. She attended the Westfield United Methodist Church for many years. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2006 at the Westfield United Methodist Church in Westfield, IL with Rev. Charles Shelquist officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be held in the St. Omar Cemetery, north of Ashmore, IL. Markwell Funeral Home of Casey - Westfield assisted the family with arrangments.
