Algene Williams' Obituary
Algene Williams, 79, of Casey, IL passed away at 6:35 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born December 25, 1933, the daughter of Frank L. Hudson and Wilma Marie Chapman Hudson. On April 5, 1953, she married William A. "Bill" Williams at the Casey White Oak Church of God in Casey, IL. Survivors include her loving husband of sixty years, Bill Williams of Casey, IL; children, Cheryl Logsdon and husband Jim of St. Elmo, IL; Patti Daniels and husband Ron of Blue Mound, MO; Brad Williams and wife Leslie of Casey, IL and Dana Williams and wife Stephanie of Pleasant View, TN; brothers, Ron Hudson and wife Donna of Casey, IL; Larry Hudson and wife Betty of Moweaqua, IL; Gary Hudson of Casey, IL; Delbert Hudson and wife Ann of Villa Grove, IL; Tony Kent Hudson of Rio Medina, TX and special friend Melissa Oritz; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kevin DeLee Hudson Corley. Algene was a 1952 Graduate of Casey High School. She retired after working for the Alltel telephone office as an operator for over twenty-five years. Algene also cleaned houses for many years and was an Avon Representative for over ten years. She was a lifetime member of the Casey White Oak Church of God and sang in the church choir. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Casey White Oak Church of God, 3305 E. 1000th Rd., Casey, IL with Rev. Kenny Inman officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
