Agnes Lingafelter's Obituary
Agnes Lingafelter, 92, of Martinsville, Illinois passed away at 7:12 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Burnsides Community Health Center, Marshall, Illinois. She was born on November 30, 1916 in Martinsville, IL., to Edward and Annetta Lingafelter Nash. On March 27, 1937 she married Delno D. Lingafelter. He passed away in January 10, 1999. Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Burns and her husband Allen of Martinsville, Illinois; two grandsons, Derrick Clark and Laif Burns; one brother, Herschel Nash of Humbolt, IL; and one sister, Evelyn Bailey of Effingham, IL . Agnes was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Stanley and Lelan Nash; and three sisters, Frances Nash, Mildred Washburn, and Elnora Baker. Mrs. Lingafelter was a homemaker and a life member of the Olive Branch Church in Annapolis, IL. She was known for having an egg route where she home delivered her hand selected farm fresh eggs throughout the community in the 1960's and 1970's. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 6th, 2009 at the Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville, Illinois with Bro. Randy Nave officiating. Burial will be in the Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5th at the funeral home in Martinsville, Illinois. Memorial donations and contributions may be made to Olive Branch Church in Annapolis, IL. Memorial tributes and condolences may be sent to the family at www.greenwellfh.com.
