Aaron Dean Paul's Obituary
Aaron Dean Paul, age 47, of Casey, IL passed away on Tuesday evening, February 25, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 9, 1977 in Effingham, IL, the son of Elizabeth Ann (Calvert) and Gary Paul. Aaron married Nabella Keeney on July 21, 2001 at Vevey Park in Casey, IL. Together they shared twenty-seven years of marriage and love; they were blessed with four children and four grandchildren.
Aaron was a 1995 graduate of Casey-Westfield High School. He was a truck driver working for John Shore, 3 Sisters Logistics, John Crouch Farms and Spittler Excavation. Aaron loved being with his family and fishing when he could with his kids. He was a member of Casey First Church of the Nazarene in Casey, IL where he was proudly baptized. He enjoyed camping, cookouts, driving semis, attending football games, and riding his motorcycle.
Cherishing Aaron's memory are his wife, Nabella (Keeney) Paul; children, Vanessa Paul, Johnna (Paul) Kemper and husband Brett, Aaron Dean Paul Jr. and special friend Kaliyah and Ashton Paul; grandchildren, Myles Kemper, Jett Kemper, Isabella Paul and a special grandchild on the way; parents, Elizabeth Harlan, Jim Harlan and Gary Paul; grandparents, Eddie and Marilee Paul; brothers, Bradley Paul and wife Chantel, Ty Paul and Jimmie Harlan, III; sister-in-law, Athena VanDyke and husband Kyle; aunts and uncles, Donna Glenn, Mary Kay Calvert, Stanley and Deanna Keeney, Steven and Myrna Keeney, and Sharon Brandenburg; special cousins, Jodie Brandenburg, Missy Calvert, Kim Calvert and many others; nieces and nephews, Ely VanDyke, Alexis VanDyke, Otto VanDyke, Dylan Morgan, Little Jimmie Harlan IV, Leah Paul, Evelyn Paul, Jackson Paul, Cayson Paul and Dawson Paul. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Grace Perkins; grandparents-in-law, Glen and Wilda (Yealick) Keeney; sister-in-law, Fatema Leanne Keeney; mother-in-law, Cheryl Lynn Keeney and uncles, David Wayne Keeney, Bill Calvert and Alan Glenn.
Memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Casey First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Allen Ebbler officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at Casey First Church of the Nazarene, 1000 US HWY 40, Casey, IL 62420. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Mount Cemetery, rural Casey, IL.
