W Richard "Rick" Talaga

W Richard “Rick” Talaga, age 67, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 6:49 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1954 in Waukegan, IL the son of Walter Leonard Talaga and Regina Mohan Talaga.

Survivors include his children, Richard Greggory Talaga, Anthony Joel Talaga (Shawndra), Nicole Rae Didier (Mark), and David Richard Talaga; three grandchildren, Anthony Zelewsky, Owen Talaga, and Marek Talaga; and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents.

Rick was a 1972 graduate of Marion Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, IL. He obtained an Associate Degree at College of Lake County and later attended Loyola in Chicago, IL. He was a career salesman. Rick enjoyed several sports but especially bowling and hockey. He loved animals and rescued cats and racing Greyhounds.

Cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held.
