Toni (Blair) Fox

Toni Blair Fox, age 80, of Ogden, IL formerly of San Diego, CA and Paris, IL passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL.  She was born August 21, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Keith Grove Blair and Eleanor Pauline (Morsch) Blair.  On February 1, 1964 she married Charles “Rocky” Fox in Casey, IL. They shared thirty-four years of marriage before he passed away on March 8, 1998.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher T. Fox (Tracy Sandoval) of Acworth, GA and Kerry A. Fox (Dina Fox) of Ogden, IL; grandchildren, Emilie Fox of Farmer City, IL and Hannah Fox of Ogden, IL; step-grandchildren, Ashley Gregg (Tyler) of Ranger, GA, DJ Sandoval (Isabelle) of Arlington, VA, and Cierra Sandoval of Acworth, GA; along with six great step-grandchildren (Kai, Cori, Brinlee, Cali, Cooper and James).   She was preceded in death by her parents (Keith & Eleanor), and husband (Rocky).

Toni was a 1961 graduate of Grossmont High School and a 1963 graduate of Grossmont College, both in El Cajon, CA.  She worked as a bookkeeper at Parrish Insurance in Paris, IL for many years.  While living in California she worked as a bookkeeper for several family owned Real Estate Attorneys, and enjoyed volunteering at Life Scan (electronic finger printing) with the Le Mesa Police Department.

Toni was a faithful member of St. Andrews Church in San Deigo, CA and attended Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph, IL, where she enjoyed volunteering with the senior activities of the church.  Toni enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, and watching the activities of her grandchildren.

Please join us for visitation and fellowship with light refreshments from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday February 25, 2024. Pastor Andrew Jones will officiate services at 3 p.m. Visitation and service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 802 E. Douglas Street, St. Joseph, IL.  Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Slusser Cemetery, rural Casey, IL.
