Tammy Renee Wilson

Tammy Renee Wilson, age 52, of Casey, IL passed away at 12:28 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL with her family by her side.  She was born January 22, 1969 in Carmi, IL the daughter of Shirley Taylor and Brenda Kay Montgomery.  On December 18, 1987 she married Howard Eugene Wilson in Martinsville, IL.  

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Howard Wilson of Casey, IL; parents, Shirley Taylor of Crossville, IL and Brenda Kuhn (Doug) of Casey, IL; children, Howard Wilson Jr. (Angela) of Olney, IL; Jeffrey Wilson of MO; Sara Maxey (Jon) of Martinsville, IL; Dylan Wilson (Kyra) of Casey, IL; Breanna Wilson of Martinsville, IL and Bryor Wilson of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Anna-Marie, Colin, Sawyer, Bobby, Mya, Raylan, Owen, Nevaeh, Nouh, Walker, Avery, Cree, Remington, Gabriel, Korin, Marie, Stone and Alexion; many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and her Great Danes, Sky and Luca.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary Lou and Bob Allison and Leslie Montgomery; paternal grandparents, Pearl and Ausby Taylor; uncles, Mark Montgomery, Steve Montgomery, Jack Taylor, Kenny Taylor and Jimmie Taylor; sister, Carol Elaine Duniphan; grandson, Joshua Maxey and two of her favorite dogs, Jessie and Blue.  

Tammy was a 1987 graduate of Martinsville High School and continued her education at Lake Land College.  She worked at Pap R Products in Martinsville, IL for many years.  Tammy was a true animal lover and enjoyed all dogs and horses; she was a Great Dane breeder for many years.  She loved to crochet, read, work puzzles and was a collector of many things, turtles were her favorite.  Tammy liked to ginseng dig and was proud she was able to teach her grandchildren to swim.  Above all she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.  She truly enjoyed any time she could spend with her family. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Markwell Funeral Home with Brother Billie Ray Ulrey officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Moss Cemetery, rural Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday morning at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL. (Per CDC Guidelines indoor masks and face coverings are required regardless of vaccination status in the facility.  Attendees should also practice social distancing.)
