Susan Lynn (Wolfe) Propst

Susan Lynn Propst, age 47, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 12:34 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born June 29, 1974 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Denzil “Fox” Wolfe and Janet Sue O’Dell Wolfe. On December 5, 1998, she married Darin Propst in Kansas, IL.

Survivors include her mother, Janet Wolfe of Martinsville, IL; husband of twenty-three years, Darin Propst of Martinsville, IL; daughters, Payton Propst, Ella Propst, and Ashley Propst of Martinsville, IL; brother, Jay Wolfe (Leslie) of Chesterfield, MO; sister, Dinah Wolfe of Martinsville, IL; nephews, Colton Propst and Maddox Wolfe; nieces, Briley Wolfe, Kiley Wolfe, and Carli Propst; father in law and mother in law, Bob and Barbara Propst of Kansas, IL; brother in laws, Troy Propst of Martinsville, IL and Perry Propst (Amy) of Effingham, IL. She was preceded by her father.

Susan was a 1992 graduate of Martinsville High School. She continued her education at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 1997. Susan currently worked at Eastern Illinois University in the purchasing department. She was a faithful member of Martinsville Bible Church. Susan loved her family and was a devoted wife and mother. She always enjoyed her children’s sporting events. She also loved the Martinsville Fair especially enjoying the horse races.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Martinsville Bible Church, Martinsville, IL with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Martinsville Bible Church, 509 E. Ridgelawn Rd., Martinsville, IL.
