Patricia Joanne (Odell) Kunz, age 81, of Casey, IL passed away at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Casey, IL. She was born July 14, 1940 in Jasper County, IL the daughter of Allen Thomas Odell and Leota Fay Comer Odell. In June 1996 she married John Bernard Kunz in Elkhart, KS.

Survivors include her husband, John Kunz of Casey, IL; sons, Jeffery Fisher of Casey, IL and Kevin Fisher of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Joshua Fisher (Raine), Lindsay Fisher, Darius Fisher, Morgan Kunz, Vincent Kunz and Jessica Foster; great grandchildren, Preston Fisher, Jalyn Fisher, Kason Fisher and Lola-Mae Kunz; sisters, Marjorie Allen (Ed) of Casey, IL; Dianna Hickox of Casey, IL and Deborah Grissom (Michael) of Arlington, TN; stepchildren, Jacques C. Kunz (Lynn) of Aurora, CO, Gretchen Eyck (Jay) of East Denver, Co and Suzanne L. Foster (Jim) of East Denver, CO; many nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law, Lowell Hickox.

Patricia was a 1958 graduate of Casey High School. She and her sisters owned and operated the Vogue Villa Dress Shop in Casey, IL for many years prior to her work as an economic development director. She retired as an Economic Development Director after working in Oakland, IL, Newton, IL, Marshall, IL and Elkhart, KS.

Pat attended the First Christian Churches in Casey and Martinsville. She was actively involved with the Clark County Farm Bureau. She was a member of the Casey VFW Ladies Auxillary and a member of the Red Hat Society. Pat always had a smile on her face and had an enthusiastic outlook on life that was contagious. Her outgoing personality brought many good friends wherever she lived.

Private family services and inurnment will be held in Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL with Pastor Rick Emrich officiating.
